• The TAC (alkalinity) allows to know the concentration of carbonate and bicarbonate ions. This measurement indicates the capacity of the water to absorb pH fluctuations and to stabilize it. The unit of measurement of the TAC rate is the ppm (part per million) or the French degree (°f) is located between 80 and 120 mg/l .
